Our team is experienced in assisting individuals with various disabilities, neurological divergencies (such as Autism and ADHD), although, we work and have experience with many forms of disability/comorbidity (including physical disability).

We like to think outside the box and offer alternatives to traditional therapy to support young people who may otherwise be disengaged from community, therapy or support services. We are here to empower young people to feel their best and have positive and fulfilling life experiences.

A mentor is a person who is a positive role model and a friendly face who is on your side, has your best interests in mind, and is there to cheer you on!

Sunny mentoring services are tailored to individual needs. We love assisting young people to build positive social connections, build on their skills and participate in their community.

We support young people to develop skills in their day-to-day life to achieve their goals.

Mentoring sessions are skill based and work towards targeted goals. Session notes are completed following each session and emailed upon request.

Mentoring is available online! If the client prefers to communicate by email, text, video, gaming (whatever the mode!) we are flexible and will adapt to the preferred communication style!

Our founders have lived experience of autism and disability, from a personal and parental point of view. In fact, the majority of our team have some form of lived-experience.

We understand that you don't want "just anyone" coming in to your life,  and that is why we only employ people who have been strictly vetted and who are capable of providing an excellent level of support. However, we understand that there is no one size fits all. We will be honest at all times, and if we don't have a worker who is the right fit for your very individual needs, we will tell you and point you in the direction of someone who is.

We offer an initial meet-and-greet, either online or in person, to discuss your goals and expectations and devise a service plan before we commence services. We want to get to know you and ensure we are the right fit for each other.
